Glennis Grace heeft daar zopas de liveshows gehaald.\u00a0&#8216;Misschien is het nu wel jouw tijd&#8217;, zei het doorgaans strenge jurylid Simon Cowell over de zangeres.<\/p>\n<p>Glennis Grace zong in de twee ronde haar versie van\u00a0<strong><em>Nothing Compares 2U<\/em> <\/strong>van Prince. Dat deed ze op aanraden van jurylid Mel B, die haar meer dan alleen liedjes van Whitney Houston wou horen zingen. Grace deed namelijk auditie met een lied van Houston, <em>Run To You<\/em>. Toen wist ze met gemak de hele jury te overtuigen van haar talent.<\/p>\n<p>De juryleden zijn heel enthousiast over de prestaties van Glennis. Simon Cowell noemde de Nederlandse een echte ster. Hij hoopt dat haar tijd om het te maken aangebroken is.<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=EMIXjA-gS4Y<\/p>\n<p>De zangeres, die in 2005 Nederland op het Songfestival vertegenwoordigde met de ballade <strong><em>My Impossible Dream<\/em><\/strong>, heeft nu een ticket te pakken voor de kwartsfinales. Die liveshows starten volgende week al.<\/p>\n<p>Artiesten die ooit zongen op het Eurovisiesongfestival duiken nadien wel vaker op in zangwedstrijden zoals <em>The Voice<\/em> of <em>X-Factor<\/em>.
