Na vele speculaties en geruchten komt vandaag de omroep zelf met een offici\u00eble verklaring. The decision is based on financial reasons because the costs of the project far exceed the financial capacity of BNT according to the Management of the broadcaster<\/p>\n<p>&mdash; BNT Eurovision Bulgaria \ud83c\udde7\ud83c\uddec (@bg_eurovision) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/bg_eurovision\/status\/1051771600142516225?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 15, 2018<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/twitter.com\/itsjjofficial\/status\/1050995672697192448?s=21<\/p>\n<p>Gisteren stuurde de Bulgaarse omroep BNT ook al een paar onduidelijke tweets (die ondertussen bijna allemaal werden verwijderd) de wereld in waarbij ze mensen bedankte die ze de voorbije vier jaar <strong>een enorme boost<\/strong> had gegeven bij zowel het Eurovisiesongfestival als bij het Junior Eurovisiesongfestival. Opvallend genoeg is een van die tweets verwijderd, de andere (nog) niet. Er kwam ook ander nieuws: de Bulgaarse co\u00f6rdinator van het succesvolle (Junior) Eurovisiesongfestivalproject houdt het voor bekeken, en hij schreef op zijn beurt dat hij bezig zou zijn aan \u2018de moeilijkste persmededeling\u2019. Fans vragen zich nu af of het echt om een terugtrekking gaat omdat Bulgarije zich vorige maand officieel had aangemeld voor deelname aan het festival met de boodschap dat ze geen informatie zouden geven over de selectie van de kandidaat.
