Participants sing a song in a special, and beautiful costume and to the judges to guess who\u2019s underneath the mask. We think that one of the candidates may well be a well-known Eurovision star. Do you want to know which former participants of the Eurovision Song Contest have already taken part in the show? Then be sure to read the entire article.<\/strong><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>During the first episode of <em>The Masked Singer<\/em> on Belgian tv-channel VTM, eight candidates were introduced. One of them immediately caught the attention of many viewers and our editors. <strong>The Queen<\/strong> stunned everyone with her perfect rendition of <em>Unstoppable<\/em>, originally sung by Australian singer, Sia. Obviously a good singer and if we listen carefully, we might hear the voice of <strong>Sandra Kim<\/strong>, our only Belgian winner. Non other than Izhar Cohen was behind the mask of the Taurus. He won in 1978 with the song <em>A-ba-ni-bi.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CGS6kdbn-_8\/?igshid=10x7k9end0d49<\/p>\n<p>In <strong>Austria<\/strong>, the season was <strong>won<\/strong> by the <strong>Yeti<\/strong>, none other than <strong>Nadine Beiler<\/strong>. Nadine participated in 2011 with the song <em>The Secret Is Love<\/em> and ended in eighteenth place.<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CGW4nNVJVih\/?igshid=1jjbue6h9xuba<\/p>\n<p>Also in <strong>Austria<\/strong>, <strong>Lukas Pl\u00f6chl<\/strong>, known from the <strong>Trackshittaz<\/strong> duo, was unmasked. The singer did not reach the final in 2012 with <em>Woki mit deim popo<\/em> and had to leave the line-up as <strong>fourth<\/strong> in the show.<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CFwgdcIKZM5\/?igshid=1c9803r4996dk<\/p>\n<p>In <strong>The Netherlands<\/strong>, the second season starts immediately with a dropout from someone who sang at the Eurovision Song Contest: <strong>Willeke Alberti<\/strong>. Willeke participated in 1994 with the song <em>Waar is de zon<\/em> and finished in twenty-third place. In the second season she unfortunately had to be the first to leave the game.<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/321902664612051\/posts\/2070427506426216\/?vh=e&#038;extid=INw9DutqdKflqeeW<\/p>\n<p>In <strong>Bulgaria<\/strong>, the second season just started with the a shocking first exit: <strong>Poli Genova<\/strong> as the <strong>Eyes<\/strong>. Poli took part in the Eurovision Song Contest twice, the first time in 2011 with the song <em>Na inat<\/em> but got stuck in the semifinal. In 2016 she achieved a handsome fourth place with <em>If Love Was A Crime<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CFVSxrcBga2\/?igshid=1g412nvod85bc<\/p>\n<p>In <strong>Australia<\/strong>, <strong>Isaiah<\/strong> competed as the <strong>Wizard<\/strong>. Isaiah represented Australia in 2017 with the song <em>Don\u2019t Come Easy<\/em>, finishing ninth. Kate represented Australia in 2019 with the song <i>Zero Gravity<\/i>, finishing in ninth place. Dami represented Australia in 2016 with <em>Sound of Silence<\/em>, finishing in second place. Max represented Germany in 2004 with the song <em>Can&#8217;t Wait Until Tonight<\/em>, finishing in eighth place. Zhana was part of <strong>Equinox<\/strong> that represented Bulgaria in 2018 with the song <em>Bones<\/em> and ended in fourteenth place. Getter represented Estonia in 2011 with the song <em>Rockefeller Street<\/em>, finishing in 24th place. Lena was part of the duo t.A.T.u, which competed in 2003 with the song <em>Ne ver &#8216;, ne boysia<\/em> and came third. Rita represented Portugal in 2003 with the song <em>Deixa-me sonhar<\/em>, finishing in twenty-second place. Natasha represented France in 2001 with the song <em>Je n&#8217;ai que mon \u00e2me<\/em> and finished fourth that year. As the Cupcake, she finished in fifth place in the first season. <strong>Fun fact<\/strong>: she was the first ex-contestant to be seen on stage in\u00a0<em>The Masked Singer<\/em>. Al Bano sang twice together with Romina Power at the Eurovision Song Contest. They finished seventh twice with the songs <em>We&#8217;ll Live It All Again<\/em> in 1976 and <em>Magic O Magic<\/em> in 1985.
