Before we give you the full results, here are some interesting facts and figures about this year\u2019s edition.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Eurovision Top 250 2021 - Facts &amp; Figures\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/kWymfTIm1Gk?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>To start, we can proudly announce that the\u00a0<strong>record amount of votes<\/strong> has been shattered once again for this edition. We received <b>8,594<\/b>\u00a0lists sent by fans across the whole world, which combined ensured yet another more than successful edition. Which country has the most entries in the ESC Top 250 this year? Which decades did well? You can read all about it in this article.<\/p>\n<p><b><i>Countries with the most entries in the list<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Sweden<\/b> has the highest number of entries with 25 songs in the ESC Top 250. The highest ranked Swedish song is of course <i>Euphoria<\/i> by Loreen, still your number one. A nice second place is reserved for <b>Italy<\/b> with thirteen songs in the Top 250. 2021 winners, M\u00e5neskin, are the highest Italian entry at number two. The third place in terms of entries is shared by <b>Portugal<\/b> and <b>Spain<\/b>, with ten songs each in the list. Highest ranked Portuguese song is still <i>Amar pelos dois<\/i>, although it tumbled down seventeen places. Best Spanish entry is <i>Dime<\/i> by Beth at number nine. With nine songs each in the Top 250, both <b>Norway<\/b> and <b>Ukraine<\/b> are fourth in the standings. <i>Spirit In The Sky<\/i> by KEiiNO is again the best Norwegian entry in seventh place on the list. <i>Shum<\/i> by Go_A comes in at number three, making it the best Ukrainian entry. No fewer than three countries close the top five: <b>France<\/b>, <b>Germany<\/b> and <b>Serbia<\/b> with eight numbers each in the ESC Top 250. The highest ranking for France is the number two of 2021. Barbara Pravi ends with <i>Voil\u00e0<\/i> in fifth place in the list. <i>Satellite<\/i> by Lena is at number 48 as the best German entry and at number eleven is, without anyone expecting it, <em>Kruna<\/em> as best Serbian entry.<\/p>\n<p>For the sake of being complete and as a Belgian website, we would also like to mention that <b>The Netherlands has seven entries<\/b> in the Top 250 with <i>Arcade<\/i> by Duncan Laurence at four as the highest entry. Our own country, <b>Belgium, closes the year with four entries.<\/b> Lo\u00efc Nottet falls twelve places with\u00a0<i>Rhythm Inside<\/i> and is at number 23 the best Belgian entry.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Which decade is best represented?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>We are happy to report that at least one song from every decade has made it to the ESC Top 250 this year. Let\u2019s take a look decade by decade:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Only <strong>one song from the fifties<\/strong> made it to the list.\u00a0<em>Nel blu dipinto di blu<\/em> by Domenico Modugno from 1958 fell 39 places this year to number 178.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Six songs from the sixties<\/strong> got enough votes to make it onto the list. The highest ranking is for <em>Poup\u00e9e de cire, poup\u00e9e de son<\/em> by France Gall from 1965, at number 61.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>seventies<\/strong> took in <strong>nine spots<\/strong> with the highest ranking yet again for the 1974 winner, <em>Waterloo<\/em> from ABBA, at number 20.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fifteen songs from the eighties<\/strong> made it to the list with C\u00e9line Dion\u2019s <em>Ne partez pas sans moi<\/em> as the most voted entry at number 85.<\/li>\n<li>On to the <strong>nineties<\/strong>\u00a0with <strong>29 songs<\/strong>\u00a0of this decade in the ESC Top 250. Ranked highest, and coming 19th in the list, is\u00a0<em>Nocturne\u00a0<\/em>by Secret Garden.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>zeroes<\/strong> have <strong>49 entries<\/strong>, of which the 2003 entry, Beth, scores best with\u00a0<em>Dime\u00a0<\/em>at number nine<\/li>\n<li>Just like last year, the highest number of songs in the ESC Top 250\u00a0stems from the 2010s. No less than <strong>104 songs<\/strong> made it to the list. It\u2019s a surprise to literally no one that\u00a0<em>Euphoria<\/em> by Loreen is the highest placed entry from the past decade.<\/li>\n<li>We have of course entered a new decade this year, the <strong>new <em>Roaring Twenties<\/em><\/strong>. No fewer than <strong>37 songs\u00a0<\/strong>made the list. The highest ranking is for the winner of 2021, M\u00e5neskin, entering the top ten at number two.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>Risers, fallers and newcomers <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Biggest riser<\/strong> this edition is the song <em>De mallemolen<\/em> by Heddy Lester. The 1977 Dutch entry rose from number 1100 to number 233, an <strong>increase of 867 places<\/strong>. Where an entry can rise enormously, there is of course an entry that has made the <strong>biggest fall<\/strong> within the list. <em>Cleopatra<\/em>\u00a0by Efendi, the Azerbaijani entry of 2020, <strong>dropped 157 places<\/strong>,\u00a0from number 75 to number 232. Only two countries are not to be found this year: Andorra and Morocco.<\/li>\n<li>The only year from the 21st century <strong>without any songs\u00a0<\/strong>in\u00a0the ESC Top 250 is\u00a0<strong>2002<\/strong>. More years with no entries are: 1956, 1957, 1959, 1960, 1961, 1962, 1966, 1968, 1970, 1971, 1972, 1976, 1979, 1980, 1985 and 1986<\/li>\n<li>The number 1 received <b>646<\/b> times <i>douze points<\/i>, where the number two received <b>617<\/b> times the highest amount of points.<\/li>\n<li>No less than <b>23<\/b> entries for the 2021 edition of Eurovision made the list.<\/li>\n<li>There are <b>78<\/b> songs in this year\u2019s list that were not in it last year.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Congratulations <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/LOREEN_TALHAOUI?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@LOREEN_TALHAOUI<\/a> <br \/>For the 10th(!) consecutive time \u2018Euphoria\u2019 is at the top of the list.
