Gisteren vaardigde de Cambodjaanse omroep de laatste deelnemer af voor Bangkok 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>De laatste nationale finale van zaterdag 17 oktober ging bepalen wie Cambodja zou vertegenwoordigen op de <strong>eerste Aziatische editie<\/strong> van het Eurovisiesongfestival. Die werd uiteindelijk gewonnen door <strong>Monetrey<\/strong> met de dramatische ballade <em>I Let You Go.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Een overzicht van de kandidaten<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Daarmee is er een einde gekomen aan vijf weken van nationale finales in het Aziatische continent. De show kan je livestreamen via het YouTube-kanaal van Eurovision en je kan ook <strong>stemmen<\/strong> op de kandidaten via de <a href=\"https:\/\/eurovisionasia.com\/vote\/\">website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><em>Eurovision Asia<\/em> is een coproductie tussen de EBU, S2O Productions, de Thaise omroep Channel 3 en Voxovation. Dat laatste is een <strong>bedrijf uit Los Angeles<\/strong> dat het Eurovision-merk naar andere markten probeert te verspreiden.<\/p>\n<p>Een van hun uitvoerend producenten <strong>Christer Bj\u00f6rkman<\/strong> was lange tijd werkzaam bij <em>Melodifestivalen\u00a0<\/em>en nam in 1992 nog deel aan het Songfestival in Malm\u00f6 met <em>I morgon \u00e4r en annan dag.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>De presentatie is in handen <strong>Woody Milintachinda en Cindy Bishop<\/strong>. Woody is content creator en bekend gezicht van tv en social media in Thailand. Hij is ook de <strong>stichter<\/strong> van het S2O Music Festival.<\/p>\n<p>Cindy, pseudoniem voor <strong>Sirinya Burbridge<\/strong>, is dan weer bekend als model, actrice en vrouwenactiviste.
