Naar goede gewoonte gidst Songfestival.be je doorheen de preselecties voor het komende Eurovisiesongfestival. Deze week krijgen we vijf – lange – avonden nostalgie op ons bord met het Italiaanse Sanremo<\/em>. Ook de Finnen en Letten maken zaterdag hun finale keuze, terwijl Isra\u00ebl op dinsdag een artiest kiest voor Malm\u00f6. In Litouwen en Zweden gaan de voorrondes verder.<\/p>\n \t

Zes kandidaten<\/strong> wagen hun kans in de tweede voorronde van Melodifestivalen 2024. De punten worden toegekend via televoting. Nummer \u00e9\u00e9n en twee<\/strong> gaan rechtstreeks door naar de finale\u00a0<\/strong>(\u2018F\u2019) die op 9 maart<\/strong> plaatsvindt. De artiesten die op de derde en vierde plaats eindigen zien we terug in de de vernieuwde run-off vote<\/em> (het vroegere Andra Chansen<\/em>) op het einde van de vijfde voorronde (2 maart). De twee beste nummers uit de run-off vote<\/em> stoten eveneens door naar de finale. Artiesten die doorstoten naar de run-off<\/em> worden hieronder aangeduid met de afkorting \u2018SF\u2019.<\/p>\n

Liamoo<\/strong> mag voor de vierde keer het beste van zichzelf geven op het podium van Melodifestivalen<\/em>, na eerdere deelnames in 2018, 2019 en 2022. Voor Maria Sur<\/strong> wordt het de tweede keer. In 2022 vluchtte ze nog weg uit Oekra\u00efne, vorig jaar stond ze al op het podium in Zweden.<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

De halve finales in Litouwen bereiken vanavond hun orgelpunt. In de vijfde en laatste voorronde zien we acht kandidaten aan het werk. De opvallendste naam in het lijstje is The Roop<\/strong>. De groep vertegenwoordigde Litouwen op het Songfestival in 2021<\/strong> en werd toen knap achtste<\/strong>, het tweede beste resultaat ooit voor de Baltische staat.<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Van de in totaal 30 kandidaten zullen slechts\u00a0vijf<\/strong>\u00a0zich kwalificeren voor de superfinale. Welke vijf dat worden, wordt bepaald door een combinatie van televoting en punten toegekend in de vier vorige shows.<\/p>\n

Vanaf dan kan er opnieuw gestemd worden. De uiteindelijke winnaar wordt bepaald door televoting (34%), persjury (33%) en een radiojury (33%).<\/p>\n

In het deelnemersveld alvast heel wat ex-kandidaten. Zo doen onder andere Diodato (2020), Il Volo (2015) en Mahmood (2019 en 2022) opnieuw een gooi naar de overwinning.<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
