You’re A Vision
What is the ‘You’re A Vision Award’ about?
Voting for the You’re A Vision Award opens after the final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2023. But exactly who or what are we crowning with this unofficial prize?
Put simply: the You’re A Vision Award crowns the most striking outfit at the Eurovision Song Contest. By doing so, we celebrate the creativity and diversity of the Contest. The name of the award has a double meaning. On the one hand, “You’re a vision” emphasizes being seen; on the other hand, that tagline sounds phonetically similar to “Eurovision”. In other words: to be seen at the Eurovision Song Contest.
Who should you vote for?
Every year, the You’re A Vision Award is awarded to the candidate who, thanks to the outfit the artist was wearing, caught your eye. What exactly stands out is up to the voters. It can range from a stunning but simple costume to a fire-breathing dress. Which outfit caught your eye, who stood out? That’s what the You’re A Vision Award is all about.
Voting opens May 14
After all, nothing is impossible at the Eurovision Song Contest. The You’re A Vision Award highlights this inspiring diversity and creativity. The award has an outspoken, positive approach.
