YOU’RE A VISION

Baby Lasagna of Croatia wins ‘You’re A Vision Award 2024’

After Sheldon Riley (Australia 2022) and Käärijä (Finland 2023), the You’re A Vision Award has a new winner. According to the voters, Baby Lasagna from Croatia wore the most striking outfit at the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest.

Like Käärijä last year, it is again the runner-up of the Eurovision Song Contest who wins the You’re A Vision Award for the most striking outfit. Baby Lasagna, with Rim Tim Tagi Dim, finished second behind Nemo from Switzerland. This is the best result ever for Croatia at the Eurovision Song Contest.

Ireland and the Netherlands

Croatia was the clear winner, with Ireland and the Netherlands in second and third place. Joost Klein participated in the second semi-final in his outfit, making him eligible for votes.

Outfit honors Croatian folklore

Winner Baby Lasagna – real name Marko Purišić – wore an outfit at the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö that paid tribute to the folklore of his homeland Croatia.

He wore a lace shirt, a leather vest, puff sleeves, and white wide trousers, a nod to the national dress. This nod was also seen in the outfits of his musicians and dancers. The white masks were particularly striking.

Award for the most striking outfit at Eurovision

The You’re A Vision Award honors the most striking outfit at the Eurovision Song Contest. We do this to celebrate the creativity and diversity of the song contest. The award goes each year to the candidate whose outfit stood out the most.

What makes an outfit striking is determined by the voters themselves. It can range from a stunning yet simple costume to a fire-breathing dress. Which outfit caught your eye, who stood out? That’s what the You’re A Vision Award is all about.
